Battledamaged beautiful finds

Article about: They obviously never knew what hit 'em. But it is sobering to realize that indiviuals died wearing those lids... heads turned to strawberry jam.

    The angles of entry and exit are most interesting.
    It's a very nice relic lid mate,well done.

    This one just landed SD SS Q62 STAMPED VERY WEAK AND THE LOT NO I CANT OUT AT ALL EVEN WITH A LOOP..I've tried to capture the silver of the decal but its very hard...
    ps thats my cat duffy who wanted to say hello

    Difficult to say from the decal other than there was only the SS who had a " light " decal on the right side of the lid , can you post some interior photos ?
