Battledamaged beautiful finds

Article about: They obviously never knew what hit 'em. But it is sobering to realize that indiviuals died wearing those lids... heads turned to strawberry jam.

    my offering to this section ~ obviously posted on my blog ~ but a very cool find ~

    Liek to think this was shot out with a LE 303 Sniper rifle ~ ( found in an Australian WWII AIF camp) ~ the pundit returned to base ~ proud as punch ~ but then as he made regular same shots he discarded the coin ~

    Default That was a close one! Battle damaged canteen

    Hello friends,

    I have had this canteen in my collection for awhile, and it is one of my favorite pieces. I thought i would share it with you,
    the hole is .30 cal.

    I don't know, many of 'battle damage' was made after war, children play or hunter's or first diggers'.
