I don't know, many of 'battle damage' was made after war, children play or hunter's or first diggers'.

    Good thought ~

I was discussing similar issue after seeing German helmet advertised on Fleabay ~ and my Netherlands connection commented that many of the 'local' battle damaged helmets were the result of Allied forces using German war graves and the Helmets as a target (practice) !

    Oh Thanks mate ~

You have just reminded me of the very ~ exceptional~ rare ~ almost impossible oddds find of a German WWII canteen cup ~ which I dug in Australia last year ~

And all others were emphatic that it was a nothingness ~ modern rubbish~

Even with what turned out to be the standard Wehrmacht blue colour ~

It was not till some 3 weeks later that I discovered courtesy of this web site~ exactly what I had found ~ a German WWII Wehrmacht relic. most likely returned to Australia by an AIF Digger after serving in North Africa ~

It was taken away and placed in a recycling bin behind my back !!

Yes, a deceased RK winner................ In all seriousness, found on the field of battle, without the suspension ring nor the ribbon, which were added later.
Which Battlefield ? Is it yours ?

    Hi
Some finds from Estonia Auvere/Sirgala region.
I havenĀ“t figured out what was use of this rod in first pic. if someone knows let me know.
The rod is one of several ones used, as a part of antenna for a german military radio (receiver/transmitter)

Beautiful items, they really tell a story, I especially like your buckles Dimas. Here my SdKfz 251 wheel with battle damage.
Nice, except if course it is probably from an Sdkfz 250, not 251. Wrong arrangement of holes & bolt fixings.
