The rod looks like a part of German signals equipment. And the cover is the German 7,5 cm artillery shell holder's cover

Hello, I just joined today. I have collected battle damaged and ground dug items for a couple of years .I will try to upload a WSS licence plate.This was found in the Czeck Republic. I bought it. I'd love to be able to join in a dig, but too many responsibilites at home.
