I stood at the same point 45 km west of Murmansk one month ago.
The inscriptions taken from documents found in soldiers ID-capsules
made my heart cry as my russian wife translate them for me
back home in Sweden. This is a place well worth visiting if you
are going to the area my friends!!
One more Salute for Maxim and the russian Wardiggers on the Ice sea coast !!!!

Maxin these photos sum up all the hard work that is done by diggers and Archaeologists who quite often come in for critiscm by those of little knowledge.
The look on the face of a son who has found his father after nearly 70 years should explain to all as why this is so worthwhile !!
