Great finds - fantastic condition especially considering where they have been for so long!
The cartridges 'Ball' .303 inch Mark VIIIz" weighed 175 grains. The bullet was boattailed with one cannelure.
The propellant charge was between 37 and 41 grains of nitrocellulose.
The .303 inch Ball Mark VIIIz was designed for long range fire in Vickers guns, however it could also be used in rifles and Bren guns.

The 'z' round gave a 4,500 meter range for the Vickers Gun in long range fire support/interdiction.
