Can anyone fill in the blanks on this 8th air force find???

Hi everyone can any of you think of the blanks on this base signe?? It came from my 8th air force base.
Line 1........ BAS LINE 2....... L---IT or... L--IT LINE3........ OFFI

So the top line is going to say BASE and the bottom line has got to be OFFICE but whats the middle line??

try base logistics officer ok that doesnt ad up ill try again

i do believe the last word is officer rather than office ,, in my experience working for the US army , they tend to sign the person in the office rather than the office its self
IE securety officer , battalion maint officer , 1st sergient , chief wo2 etc etc followed by the rank and name of the person in that office
if an office has un identified personel it tends to have an acranim IE isaac ,,, internal security and access card office
so mabe your missing word-words are an acranim cheers ian

Good point mate i hadnt thort of that... I really cant think of a word that fits the gap.

One of the guys here took a photo like that and messed around with it on photoshop, changing the saturation and stuff like that, which then showed marks that you couldn't see on the original photo. Try doing that.

I've been fiddling with it in negative, and the closest match I have at the moment is BASE UTILITIES OFFICE.
