That's a really nice find Chris. I'm amazed anything metal survived that many years around the salty water.

    Take care,

It was not close to the water it was more in the cliff. The helmet did not survive or the shells they were really more like rust buckets. But I was able to save some German pouch from the same location.

You are one lucky man Chris to have been able to find this stuff on your own. Must have been thrilling to find these. Thanks for showing.

Great relic It must be great to be able to find something like that, but it also gets me thinking....how many of the bullets fired down that barrel ended up in allied soldiers?

    Thanks
