There are only really limitations in Australia on State and National Parks, War Memorials and cemeteries. generally Fossickers are considered to be an asset removing :"rubbish " and or saving History ~
Even in National parks can be accessed with the intention of removing rubbish ~
Last year I found a live Mills Type 36 which was removed and destroyed ~ There was no discussion about whether I was not supposed to be MD a Nat park ~
Much of this issue is considered to be a "Grey Area" ~
Around Brisbane for example there are a LOT of WWII camp areas and the National Parks people in fact catch MD'ers in the scoop net as they admit they are chasing Hoons on motorcycles and 4*4s, not pursuing Fossickers as such ~
Of course as stipulated across the board ~ out right blatant trespassing is a NO GO ~
