    October is always a good time to go ,the summer vacation is over and the farmers are in the fields.

    cricketchris1944, looks like great fun, I would love to spend some time 'meuse'ing around in that area...I like the remains of the schnapps/gin bottle, I have a complete one.

    Here the pictures of two of the bottles I found in Meuse Argonne the one without any marking was found in the rivers the other one was found on my last trip in a field that was just pladed

    There is alot of good stuff to see Vauquois ,the kaiser tunnel,Verdun,the prince bunker and lot more.

    Looks like the bullets you found are Manlicher types.........
