    Paul is quite right - and to this day there is a well-known Restaurant Clos Des Gourmets in Paris which uses similar lettering. A poignant relic in its way......

    Thank you Martin. It's the oddest things one can find out there. Among them track wheels from a Bren Carrier and a coin collection in a rotted bag from the 1870's. On the slope with a WW2 "bunker village". 41 copper coins in all.

    Remember to use some aggressive paint thinner before and after. Just a little tip

    And don't forget to polish with a 4" angle grinder! That is absolutely critical to the process
