    So after a few hours we decided to try our luck in the woods. For your information: this area was used to train German soldiers, this is the reason we found a lot of so called 'Platzpatrone' and other practice material.

    Yes that photo had actually nothing to do with this trip, it accidentally got uploaded and it took me some time to get rid of it

    It is good to see the ground and water can still produce so interesting treasures.
    Collect ROA, Cossack, Schuma and other WW2 Volunteer militaria.

    Cool finds indeed Warka Some of that stuff should clean up pretty well. What's with the "Ленфрон" Lenfron(t)? spoon. Looks like the year says 1991г ?

    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),

    Lars I think it said 1921. A very nice find indeed, such personalized things are my favourite things to find.

    Yes such items are among the nicest. I found a name plate made from an artillery shell with 4 names on it. The plate have most likely been on a bunker/shelter door
