The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

    1st July 1916

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Seeing these threads with the amazing items being dug up, makes me wonder just how much materiel was produced for the TR war effort. Does anybody know, for example, how many M35 or M40 helmets were manufactured up to May 1945?

Absolutely STAGGERING! Fabulous finds there. Love the way you dispose of the ordnance. Maybe you should save it for use on the cold days!

I'm from Texas. Just about every household has a weapon. We guard our right to constitutionally (second amendment) "keep and bare arms" very seriously.
I'd suspect you might mean "bear" arms as opposed to "bare" arms. But if the latter hedonism is certainly covered by the freedoms implied by the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights. As long as you're just baring arms and not naughty bits.
