    Do they send them to you from Germany or from a local department? I must say the German Volksbund is not always that helpful. I contacted them about a Danish "Freikorps" soldier one of my mates found years back. Dog tag and all. They were not really interested. Denmark were not interested either. I have a thread on this issue here on forum somewhere with a scan of the tag.

    I cant remember, if Ive seen that thread, but very interesting!
    Cant fathom, why nobody would be interested. A sad state of affairs. Also why Denmark lost the U-543 and one of the largest and finest weapons Collections in Europe; DK is practically sanitized of military historical interest - especially concerning WWII and Danes participating.
