might be a campsite I never knew about
That sounds like a potential "Gold Mine" there, Mate ~

Good luck ~ may you find a "Horn of Plenty" !

( I have done some considerable research, since being W.I.A. ~ and I am pinning high hopes on two sites which I hope were (unregistered/ logged) military encampments ~ as there were track/s- road there in the same period of 1942! And I have seen both in passing on previous hunts and they both looked very good as far as vegetation and regrowth goes!)

    Cheers Inka

Starting to chaff at the bit down here ~ But as my MD mate of 72 years said to me yesterday ~ "One day of positive recovery and a first day outside in the Sun does not mean you can go and get all "upp'etty" ~ Take it easy and don't go getting pumped up just yet ! "

    LOL

So more positive research with local tops maps found~ all almost all produced from 1942 -1943 ~ One even with WWII military camps marked!

Luv the bottle collection ~ excellent !

The royal blue medicine bottle/s are top of my wish list ! Tantalisingly close as I have found fragments but no complete bottle yet! "

Some of you might remember this little casing I found last summer. It had a bullet inserted the wrong way around in it,and it made a sound of something else inside it when I shook the casing. Ofcourse in my mind this had to be a little lump of gold, a secret message or even a decent sized diamond hidden away. Sadly, when I finally got around to open it I had to realize I would not be able to afford installing a pool or buy that pimped-up Lada Niva. Inside the casing was a tiny piece of wood, might have been the wooden "bullet" from a training round But exciting it was grin emoticon Happy Hunting my friends
