It looks like a pipe threading die set, the various sets of dies are fitted into the holder according to the size you want to cut. The holder has a ratchet which allows you to cut a thread in a tight space. I used a similar unit in the REME Workshop at 100 Regiment RA.

Its raining today so Im sorting and cleaning relics..

Here is two things found in Latvia this summer. Cannon barrel dug out in Priekule.Thought it was a piece of artillery shrapnel when I dug it and great was my joy when I turned it around and saw the rifling. The 75 mm panzer penetrating head was found in a dumping pit in German frontline positions in Kurland.

    Thanks Torch
It was a few rainy days so I made another little trench dio. This one is also scale 1/35.
"Trommelfeuer" shows a german soldier in a rather deep trench somewhere on the easternfront. The soldier is sitting in a small hole dug out in the trench wall for added protection during heavy shelling. Clenching the panzerfaust waiting for the T34s to follow the artillery barrage Hope you like this one as well
