    ..as I picked up the metaldetector to og home,it made a big signal,,and not one,but two canteens,,deffo needs more digging here!

    Very cool inka and congrats mate Looking forward too see what you can pull out of the ground in that area. It's always intriguing to think about how stuff actually ended up where they are found. "What's the story"?

    Good stuff...that belt buckle with leather tab is an awesome find!

    Went for a recon trip to the Rotvoll are today btw, found the positions and two bunkers --- took some photos but I'm unsure where to dig/what exactly to look for in the terrain. But, hoping for a trip with shovel and detector tomorrow either way! Oh... I'll bring my camera as well

    I recommend this detector if you want to find the heavy and interesting items that are deep in the mud.

    Correct Trond. We also use this model and it kicks a.. Good lightweight detector. Inka should get one

    It gives digging a whole new dimension. Really! We also had a Fisher Gemini 3 but it's heavier and not so easy to walk with.

    You're definitely on to something good as you're finding more "personal" items...a stack of helmets might be waiting for your discovery, lol...So awesome to witness your progress...I appreciate you sharing your adventure with us...certainly wish we could be there helping you dig!
