    German close combat knife and bunker stove top, from dumping pits in Nordland..

    Latest addition to my collection..
    A friend brought me this today,she found it on her very first trip out with her detector. Found by the side of the road where allied forces tried to halt Ze German invasion forces in 1940, but also large numbers of troops was interned during the liberation in 1945

    Lovely weather here North today so I spent a few hours trying to locate some dumping pits. Not many finds today but the matchbox cover was a very nice one

    Found a good dumping pit today Between a ton of rust was two metal boxes in good conditions, they are heavy and it rattles when I move it. I suspect it to be ice cleats for horseshoes but wont know for sure until I have them open Will try to get them open without damaging them so it might take a day or three
