It is weekend!!And as every day, digging day Made a few very nice finds today. A few more dog tags and three tubes for army dogs to cary messages in, one of those still had the dog collar attached. A billion hungry gnats made the day a bit difficult at times only,,with finds like these I could handle even australian super bugs

Perhaps I should send you some "Bushman's insect repellent" ~ LOL ~ It is the only one I find stops March flies and developed in New Guinea for extreme tropical conditions ~

And many of your finds are in nice condition too~ Well Done!

    Hehe,Thanks AT

Here are the three brass tube thingies I found yesterday. One of the best finds I ever made I think They are for german Meldehunde, messenger dogs used at the front. The message was rolled up on the inner tube and it was screwed shut and the dog ran to its destination. One of the tubes had some rust which had destroyed a small part of it. I havent got it open yet. The two other ones is in much better condition and both opened, but no messages inside.
