    Oooh,,now that would be so exciting

    Here is a little mystery item I found on the capitulation site Im digging.. A modified rifle casing with a bullet stuck the wrong way around in it. It is heavy-ish, and there is something inside it, I can hear and feel something move when I shake it Have ordered a kinetic hammer andhoping i ll get the bullet unstuck with the help of it . The k98 casing in the pic is for scale.

    Have you tried soaking it in petrol overnight Inka. That might loosen it.

    No,didn`t try anything yet,,there is a chance the thing inside is paper so I wont risk to potentially damage it

    I found this nice wooden ashtray when digging on the capitulation site. Have dried it up and treated it with oils so it wont fall apart

    It's a 6.5x55 mm Krag Jorgensen dummy cartridge Sweden made. Cartridge designed for the rifle Swedish Krag of 1894 and has served like ammo of Hotchkiss and Madsen machine guns too.

    Gawd, the detector died today, oh the horror,a few weeks before winter!! Calling the repair guys tomorrow to hear if there is a chance to have it fixed before the season ends..
