I don't see any problem with cleaning it up.
It looks very good.
I just cleaned with the water. It was found in pine forest and both buckles are fantastic preserved

Well, there are a lot of interesting places in Slowenia. I see there are items from Croatian Ustasha, sadly most of these men very brutally murdered after WWII my Tito bandits. Maybe You have found a place what was a previous POW camp or something. Anyway, very interesting finds.
Excellent finds-I especially like the Ustasha pieces...Very uncommon to see!

I agree, Pavelic's Ustasha were very brutal to the Serbs. Heard of the so-called,"Serb cutter"?
