    Looks like you've found the airfield dump Good job ! There will be lots more stuff there. All you have to do is dig down to get to it

    Well, I don't think I am that lucky, it is just a small ditch, about 2-3 meters long, 1 meter wide. There are rubbish pits like this all over, but there are usually only tin cans in it. I am going back there today to see if there is any more there.

    I went there today too, got some nice finds, including a pocket knife, spoon and knife, lock from a map case, some remains of a ceramic bottle, 2 tooth brush tubes etc etc.
    You will get pics when they are cleaned up.
