    HI all

Thought I'd share some items that have been very kindly given to me by a metal detectorist who has little interest in WW2 items. These bits were all recovered from an RAF base dump, although I think the 2 inch mortar fins probably came from somewhere else and just found their way into the bag of stuff !

Some nice bits and a great addition to my war room.

There are some good people out there !!

    Before cleaning......

First up the 2 inch mortar fins. Can't think why they would be in an RAF dump so assume the guy found them somewhere else and sent them to me with the dump stuff

Fins nicely marked and dated on two of them.

A anti-gas ointment tube and a 3 inch (no. 152) mortar fuze cap. An odd find for an RAF dump so maybe that came with the 2 inch fins ?

Now the bits that most certainly came from an RAF dump.

AM stamped parts. This one has the prefix 10B, Radio (Wireless and Radar) Aerial and Mast Equipment and Insulators.

Thats another good selection there, well done. I like that AM spoon it looks like it has the owners Dog Tag number stamped to the front. Might be possible to trace it?
