A couple of nice bits today, which make a change from the inspection rounds (though did find another 100+ - seriously might stop digging them up now ). Anyhoo, first is a 160th Bruce battalion button, the second that I have found at this site.

The other notable find is a maple leaf cap badge marked with the 153rd Wellington Battalion . The 153rd (Wellington) Battalion, CEF was a unit based in Guelph, Ontario. The unit began recruiting in late 1915 in Wellington County. After sailing to England in April 1917, the battalion was absorbed into the 4th and 25th Reserve Battalions on May 7, 1917
