Great finds!!!
On the 7th photo down there is a piece of metal with a spring at one end and a loop at the other. Do you have any idear what it is?? I find lots of them on one of my airfields but have never been sure what they are.

381: I also find those coiled wires often, its might be for hanging barber wire or some thing for tent lines...I'm still not sure
Steve: the 30 carbine round in rare, body is made from steel and has no provisions (flash holes) for primer usage..its eaither a drill round or a functions check round

Tent rope tensioner, used with most patterns of WWII US tents.

Over 50 coins, including silver US dimes, british and dutch coins. I still have many hunts planned there before the post closes.
