Gas mask of search(excavation)dynamo

Dear friends hello
here is a gas mask lost by B E F, in May / June, 1940, on the beach of Bray dunes (near the Dunkerque), after more than 65 years in the sand and the sea water (at the time of its discovery).

that thing would have been destroyed by now!!!

Awesome find Its amazing that these masks generally end up in poor condition due to being kept in bad storage conditions such as in someones attic but that one thats been exposed to the elements for decades is still in such good condition
