Dear friends hello.

Here is what can look like an English basic helmet after a dumping in l sea water since June, 1940...
This helmet was taken(brought) out to BRAY DUNES some years ago, on the zone of baches (flooded in high tide)


Extraordinary thing(matter), after a dumping in the sea water so long, the internal headgear is always present, alone the oilcloth disappeared..

to answer the question of panzer 3, the small element in metal (brass), is the buckle of rédlage of the jugular vein(chin strap).
