Me and Gurov has been work under the very hard sunlight, once we've jump to the car- leave all the stuff in the field and driving to the Mummassare to the swimming. The car iside was heaten up to 70 grad. At the evening we found the helmet just with scull and a part from officer's collartab. We decide to dugup the hole next time, due of no time to dig it and found the body itself

Most of the helmets was a Heeres reissue, even with the SS covers on it. The salt keeper, was taken probably at the campaign in Poland

More success guys well done !!! In that heat as well , even Robo has got a sweat on but i bet he's glad he joined in and found that MG 42 !!

Got to say the level of excavation work is excellent a great credit to you all.

Very interesting to see the cloth of the helmet cover with still the bright green colour showing and the the helmets were Heer issue with SS Camo covers.

Two more early Freikorps Danmark tags as well plus the Officers tab wire maybe one is the Untersturmfuhrer from 5 Kompanie after all.

I didn't realise that the Danes had commited cruelties against the civil population was this when the Freikorps Danmark fought at Demjansk ?
