So Herr Schock wants to find and then move the cemeteries even though the veterans don't want it moved to Narva , that might not make us very popular !!

What do Ivika and the local Estonians from the Museum say ??

I also have a map which show the cemetery of the 122 ID at Udria !!

Schock is right. The cemetery in Narva is a quite nice place with clearly recognized names. In other way holes after some peoples and rubbing. That is the politics say- not a veterans

Yes it would probably be better to move all these guys to the Soldatenfriedhof at Narva then any relatives have a place to go but a lot of work to recover that many bodies , we would need a big digging gang !!!

Some pics from our last trip. At that time we explored the east side of a Kinderhöhe hill. Mostly soviet stuff: messtins, shovels, helmets, amunition, grenades and of course a huge number of M38 bodyarmor parts.
Found one body of soviet solder, He was dropped to the trench, no Id documents and any equipment, tottaly empty exept one F-1 grenade in trousers pocket,

Guys Who knows about this badge? It was found in the same place, on the east side of hill. I think it's a dutch or belgian nazi badge....

Paul, we are amateurs - Snicky Valera Knjaz on the same field where we found first 11 Nordland fighters excavated more bodies. We catch him only in the final point. He found 5 or more bodies I think, approx 10 meters from our place.

P.S. Interesting thing, we found a M36 early soviet type helmet on the hill. It's quite rare for a 1944 period.

    Thanks for the information.
No, we are amateurs because we explored this area with the detector several times and we found nothing, but he found.

The badge shows the Dutch wolf's hook, a small rectangular box with the motto "TROUW" (Loyalty) and a sword in the background crossing it. The bottom part shows a circular ring with the Flemish motto "AAN R TOLLENAERE KOPZY 1942," indicating the date and place he was killed.
