Identify iron bar

Article about: Hi I found this iron bar in the forest next to a foxhole near foy (Bastogne). Does anybody know what it could have been? Thank you all.. best wishes, 0.S.

    Some idea of scale would help O.S. It could possibly be a tank track pin, then again, just an old iron bar!!

    It's about 20 centimeters long.

    There were more then one (about five) on one place.
    I only took one with me.
