Indian Bases/ East of Suez

Having spent some time nosing around Sharjah circa 1995/6 and seeing a military type fuselage pushed up against the old fort that doubled as part of the base there I got to wondering about relics of UK airfields fields in former British India.
Can anyone direct me to any links to current day finds on such bases?

Given though wholesale scrapping that took place at Kanpoor (I have read up on the Liberator recovery epic that took place immediate post independence) and the general recovery of in place air frames years ago I was wondering if the same kind of airfield archeology we have typically on this forum has caught on in India/ Pakistan.
