    nice finds. I would agree with Ade that the crown is more likely to be a NCO arm badge rather than an officers shoulder strap rank crown, as the latter nearly always have the fixings on each side rather than the former which mostly have them at top and bottom. Also it looks a bit big to be an officers rank crown.
