In all honesty I found the second reply more than a little condescending.

I came here for help getting an item identified and not to be spoken to in that way, or referred to as 'he'.

On that basis I think I will take my leave from this forum.

    Good day,

Hmm..I'm a bit confused. SteveS came here for opinions on an open forum , gets advice and info and decides to leave the forum on his 3rd post?! I hope 'he' ( apparently he gets offended by being called "he") realizes the situation and reconsiders. This is the best site of its kind in he world and a simple disagreement shouldn't cause one to quit a place like this .
SteveS, if you are still around, please don't get offended. You are not the first to get offended and I'm sure not the last, but some people are easily offended. Don't let let a minor discrepancy lead you to stray from here.

SteveS doesn't say he left the Stokes mortars alone, only the grenade.

It was you Steve, you bad man you, using the H word.

Thanks Jerry. Thought I was going mad. I am, however, even more confused.

Is it April 1st and I've slept for 8 months?
