    Here are pictures of some of Jayh's recent finds from old bases and POW camps around England. Some great finds ! Congrats Jayh

    Nose fuze, looks to be from a 40mm round or similar.

    Now for the POW finds. First up some Italian buttons.

    A bakelite lid that appears to have originated from Germany

    More POW camp finds. There appears to be two Kriegsmarine buttons here

    Some great finds in there Jay ! Any chance of a close up of the markings on the bakelite disc and the back of the anchor buttons ?

    I will dig the buttons out when I can , but they were deffo kriegsmarine .

    love the pressure Switch Number 2 Mark 1 - got a soft spot for these SOE type items. Really nice finds Jay

    Hey Jay,
    Lovely finds mate, you have been busy. The bakelite lid is in fact the base out of a German shell case, I have one too, Jay found these pictures a while ago and sent them over, sadly I cant remember the type of shell?

    The fuze is much bigger than a 40mm fuze its the remnants of a No119 B commonly used on 25pdr HE projectiles and other large projectiles,according to the info i have the No119 came into service in 1938 and the No119 B in 1943 ,,see attached image for a complete and cut fuze.
    also attached image of a cut No2 mk1 pressure switch developed by MD1 and went into production in 1939 with over 2.25 million produced during ww2.

    nice info there spotter thank you!
    the pressure switch i found is actually made of zinc it was found with a load of triang (yes the toys) drill rounds ,but i have also found a brass one
