    Not off a vehicle Matt, that's for sure. It's a key of indeterminate use i.e. door, cabinet, padlock or.....err... chastity belt.

    Whatever, it could be several centuries old, how many? Who knows? The design is gothic and could date from anytime thereafter.

    Looks very old to me, certainly older than WW2.

    I'd say it is definitely a key to a lock.
