Default King Tiger Tank Part From Normandy.

Paula the wife bought me this for part of my 50th Birthday. This is a component said to be from the road wheel machinery of a German King Tiger Tank. The part was found with other material on a scrap pile in Normandy area back in 1980. The previous owner had it cleaned and repainted to its former colour. Have to say I was very pleased with it and a few have suggested having it made into a small table. Cheers, Tim.Attachment 822285

If it's only part of your 50th birthday present, wait and see if the other part of the pressie is the rest of the tank before converting it to a table

I think you nailed it there as you can see this actual part on the King Tiger Tank and when we visited Bovington recently I took some close up photos of the piece as it belongs.
