M35 d/d with wire

Hi guys i'm new here but not new to collecting..i've got bored with better condition helmets and i've gone back to my roots...Relic's now i'm collecting these again i've got that buzz back..anyway back to the helmet it's a d/d heer thats received a shrapnal hole to the top and has wire attachment this has fused to the shell in places it was found in france..i hope you like it..

That's interesting that you've "gone back to your roots" and decided to collect relic lids again, but after seeing the helmet above...I can see why! It has fantastic character. Thanks for sharing it with us all.

Your helmet looks fantastic, the wire is a nice touch... thanks for sharing! Do you think this helmet had a camo paint job, or is that the way the rust and patina worked out after all these years? Do you have any pics of the interior? Are any of the stampings still visible?

its was apple green it's size & maker marked NS 64 heres the inside pic..
