    Hi nemps,
    i think i have found out what the MG drum is from, a French Chatellarault M31 MG used in french light tanks, whose turrets were dug in on the Maginot line to act as bunkers, hope this helps

    The last pic of the drum like thing appears to be a steering clutch for some kind of tracked vehicle.

    After war many damaged vehicles were left behind in woods. Local residents did not find use for large parts. But they could use bolts and nuts. So they dismantled those vehicles and left many parts behind. After that someday the chassis entered in scrap metal, but they do not bother to collect small parts so those parts preserved to today.
