Keep posting the pictures of your excellent finds. And good luck in searching
On Saturday brought out of the woods previously found rests of sdkfz 251 gearbox and also found sdkfz 251 track tensioner. Pieces of armor are also from halftrack. The rest most likely belongs to the panzer III.
Today, found some more panzer/stug stuff. What you think belongs this big round steel part to panzer turret or to something else ?
That looks like a piece of a turret to me. That part with the scoops looks like to be the "cooling" fan of the engine.
That iron frame with the springs could be a seat.
cheers,
More good finds some great parts
Did you get my e mail about the tracks ??
regards
Paul

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
