    Great start to the digging season Not sure what the object is what it found with the other Stug parts ?

    Yes helmet is Ssh 36, but not in good condition, have found better. All stuff came from one place, from old farm site. Abandoned shortly after war, so all stuff was old but not necessarily related to war (there was lot horse stuff and so, so I sorted out things that seems to be related to military), but one stug was destroyed about a 1km away and other 2 km away, so people looted a lot.

    just going though all these pictures with envy! ^^ kinda makes me annoyed there was no tank or infantry battles ww2 time in UK so there would be axis stuff to find lol

    Today made with friend a longer trip in woods, most of heavier stuff left behind: 7 track links, sheet of turret top armor with hinges, but something carried home too:

    Today carried out from woods some previously found Stug parts - armor found my friend ,I found also parts from german truck probably Mercedes L3000 - left in woods full rear axle, with brakes and rims. And last picture I dont know what parts those are, but probably from some kind of steam engine:
