Great find Ostlanddigger and a good reminder of the heavy fighting that took place in the East particulary the Baltic States during the First World War , do you find much WW1 stuff ?

    Hi, Ostlanddigger,
I pickelhaube you found is really great i would love to have found it
even in that condition, They all tell a story. I have a pickelhaube
helmet i have had it for quite some time now, it is a very small fitting helmet, but is in good condition for the age. I thought you might like to see it so i have put it on. I need the chinstrap and cockades but will only put originals on it. It is marked 98B 1905,
and 7 0 on the rear peak, .
