Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings

Nice.
Hi, Ostlanddigger,
I pickelhaube you found is really great i would love to have found it
even in that condition, They all tell a story. I have a pickelhaube
helmet i have had it for quite some time now, it is a very small fitting helmet, but is in good condition for the age. I thought you might like to see it so i have put it on. I need the chinstrap and cockades but will only put originals on it. It is marked 98B 1905,
and 7 0 on the rear peak, .
dave.
