    Welcome to the forum.

First read this sub section in the forum very carefully

    "Search technology and metal detecting
All about battlefield archaeology, laws, detectors, etc"

Then get acquainted with laws and ethics regarding metal detecting on WWII sites. Always work together with war historians and or conflict archaeologists!

    Best,

There are three essentials to MD War sites or any metal detecting..

    Research ~

    Research~

    and finally Research ~

Then once you have done the essential research ~

Then establish what your local or even country requirements are related to say WWII sites.

Then ~ if it is private property ~ or what ever ~ gain permission to MD ~

And then you are set ~ Kit up and Go MD ~

    Good Luck !
