    My pleasure , myself and some friends have also visited the Somme regulary for years , we have most likely walked the same fields and visited Dominics afterwards for a few Jupiters !! I used to love it there before he turned it into a Theme pub for school kids !!! Those Sunny but cold March mornings scanning the deep ploughed fields for a badge etc can't be beaten

    im sure your rigth because the germans still use that style of mg belt boxes almost a hundred years and defintly 2 world wars later and of cause they still use a "reincarnation" of the MG42
