That helmet is amazing!!!

I was at Brevands this year and it is a special place. It's so nice to see this has been found and is with someone who will appreciate it.

. A real ' Band of Brothers' relic, indeed. I would take the advice of using WD-40 to preserve it and prevent further rust from occurring. Items are often unstable when removed from wet areas and exposed to oxygen. They can deteriorate very quickly when this happens. I swear by WD-40, and it has proven very effective on my relic helmets. It halts the corrosion process very efficiently
