    I think Cornishboy is right, I've dug up loads of 3 Inch tail sections not far from where I live and this looks just like one. You have to be careful though as almost all the ones I've found had small traces of phosphorous on them that started burning when I started removing the rust with a wire brush.

    The tail section on this one is 11 inches alot bigger size than the one you guys are talking about.
