    Chris,

Those look great. Can you make out any numbers or who the manufacturer was of the Garand?

Calvados has secondary effects Scout, aside making you shout "i love french women!!!" under the moon at 4.00AM.
The most noticable is to make you asking the french nationality....
Wonderful finds Cricket Chris, the M1 Garand with parts of the wood is a hit, according to me.

Just got a flashback to France - especially the couple of times I have been to Normandy. Time to go back I think....

The M1 Garand that I have does not have any wood on it.
The ones that I have with wood is a 1917 enfield found in a river in Meuse Argonne and the other one is a M1 carbine found in one of the boat sunk in front of Omaha beach.
