Article about: Another relic piece i have found in my sundries box , i wonder if this could be some kind of aircraft panel fixing screw ? it is approx 2/3" long & looks like traces of green paint

    known as a dzus fastener,used on many things including aircraft.

    Harry is the man!...
    And the paint looks like etch primer used on aluminium and dural!.....
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    Thanks Gunny , shame it can't be pinned down too either an aircraft or vehicle

    They usually were on accesses panels around engine cowling on most aircraft of the war
