Looks like you had a better day than me, spent my day visiting 2 shops, both of which were full of laughable fakes being sold as th real deal ! I shall never be buying from them.

Very nice date on your sixpence and a nice 50cal. These do tend to hold up better than 303's in the ground. It looks in nice condition.
Very interesting to see you've found some more Coffmans. The research I did into them pointed to them being used in Griffins and late variant Merlins. I would be interested to learn what you dig up on them.

PS The airbase I found mine at was one of the few to house Whirlwinds. These too (I believe) used Coffman cartridges as starters.
