Here are my finds straight out the bag, I left a carrier bag with more on site but Steve thinks he knows where it is.

A general mixed bag followed by some close ups.



Harness or strap buckles?



Control knob.



2 x No28 bomb pencils one in brass, US boot heal? and solid metal US Armour piercing nose?



Interesting triangular shaped 'Thing' with teeth to the top.



Next bag another mish mash.



No 848 bases and two tops.



Mainly electrical fittings.



A few 20mm links and section of curved frame that probably held plexi glass.



An inert (used) 10 1/2lbs Practice bomb, it would have originally held a smoke charge, the brass tubing is empty and the front section is solid metal either filled with lead or cast metal. I like the way its rusted to form the hole (natural section) to view inside.



The front shows that the fuze is fully depressed into the nose, this would have triggered the smoke discharge when used.



Will post pictures of interesting bits as they're cleaned.

The heel looks like its off a RAF Shoe /boot. Might even have an AM stamp on the top side!

My best find of the day was this little shaving kit. It must have been brand new when it was thrown away.

That razor is just awesome though. Truly a great find and, if it wasn't for the practice bomb, the find of the day !

Nice find your razor, its strange it was chucked when new, unless it was perhaps cleared from the locker of a Airman that didn't return! Bet it could tell a story

My haul.



A stainless steel pin (also has R3....), same as Steve's..... *please note I have working mans hands, unlike those perfectly manicured ones chemist's have.*



Same pin bottom end, has a hole.....for a 'R' clip?



Stainless steel sort of wing nut, a bit crudely filed on top.



And lastly, these......



...looks like paper backed aluminium foil strips. Is it wishful thinking to think that these could be the strips dropped from bombers to confuse German radar? Or are they something more mundane?
