    My latest relic....arrived just looking like a huge lump of rust. Overnight in a bucket of Deox-C solution and it's at least recognizable...







    ...as the nosecone of a 150mm Nebelwerfer projectile.

    Thanks - yes it's not bad : it looked really horrid 'before'. I may give it a second go as it's just had the one soak followed by a scrub with a bristle brush....

    You got that cleaned up quick, did you get bored in the New year. Mine is still sitting in the cardboard box they were shipped in.

    Hi guys, great thread so far. Thought I’d share my example, picked it up from a Finnish dealer last year. The stamping around the body is legible -

    DOV 1 15 Spr 26 x 5,5 Ø 140 gua 4 e 42

    Any ideas? I think 42 is the date but beyond that I haven’t a clue.
